This is my final podcast for NaPodPoMo 2008. In it, I go on an impromptu soundseeing tour of a nearby industrial park. I also stop by a local chain restaurant to pick up some lunch. Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s National Podcast Post Month, either as a podcast listener or producer. We’ll all be back to this insanity next year…? Here are the photos I took while I was out walking:

Day Thirty of the NaPodPoMo Experience

Inside My Head Podcast number Two Point Thirty

This is the last day of this year’s NaPodMo Experience. In this (extremely sleep deprived) show, I look back on this fun filled month, and make comments about it all. I also share a few listener comments.

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called: “Insult to Injury”. Don’t forget to add your own haiku of frustration to the blog at haikuoffrustration.com.
It’s fun! It’s fast! It’s … well, maybe not easy. It’s ….um…. free therapy?

Music in today’s show by:
Benji Cossa , with a song called “The Show is Over Everywhere”

A big thank you to all who participated in NaPodPoMo! I really enjoyed listening to the different shows, and I love how interactive people were this year.

See y’all next year?

Day Twenty Nine for the NaPodPoMo Experience

Inside My Head Podcast number Two Point Twenty Nine

WalMart worker dies from being trampled by a mob of shoppers on Black Friday. WalMart re-opens the store later that same day. I cannot think of a more obvious way for WalMart to tell the world that money is more important than the very lives of their workers.

Enjoy the rant!

If you feel the way I do, and think WalMart was in the wrong in this situation, let them know with your dollars. Don’t give any to them.

Today’s Haiku of Frustration is called: “Fuck WalMart!”

Mold Count

Day Twenty Eight for the NaPodPoMo Experience

Inside My Head Podcast number Two Point Twenty Eight

The mold count is incredibly high right now where I am at. I am dying from allergies, once again. Sucks to be me.

Today I decided to create a little song that is an auditory explanation of how the high mold count effects me.

Here is a translation:
Shaker sound = itchy eyes, itchy sinues
Synth sound = severe sinus pain
Drum beat = wheezing
church bell = my salvation, my antihistimine
Om tones at the end = symptoms gone, and my brain floats away.

Some of this is going to get pretty darn loud before it calms down again. Much like how my allergies get progressively worse before the drugs make me feel better again. If you don’t change your volume at all while you listen, I expect you might actually feel in your head something like what I feel Inside My Head when the mold count is this high. You can “feel my pain” right along with me.

Enjoy?
